Most-awarded firms
34 firms and in-house teams · 187 winning projects
Student work is where the next decade of the profession shows up first, and the firms that hire from it watch this category closely. The student designer has a brief and no client, which means the discipline has to come from the work itself, and the best entries behave as if a budget were riding on them. By GDUSA award wins, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) leads student design in 2025 with 32, ahead of Academy of Art University (29), UCO School of Design/University of Central Oklahoma (21), Mercer University (9), Ball State University (8). The firms with the most GDUSA awards for student design in 2025 are ranked below, each with one of its winning projects. Open any firm to see all of its work.
Counts are winning projects published in the gallery. In-house teams that entered under their company name are counted like firms.
