What a win means

• A permanent, credited page at a clean URL — student name, school, instructor — that outlives any portfolio host or class website.
• The company the work keeps. Student winners sit in the same archive recruiters browse and the same discipline hubs as the studios those students will join.
• Credit for the whole team. Faculty who enter credit their students by name and take the instructor line themselves — 490 instructor credits are on the record so far. Every win moves the school up the Best Design Schools leaderboard and feeds Top Design Schools.
• The page graduates with the student. Claiming a designer profile is free and verified, so the record follows them into their career.

How student work gets here

Most student work arrives the way it always has: a professor or program chair enters a class’s best pieces at the end of the term. Our own entry records show it — student entries come in batches, from a small circle of faculty who do it year after year. Students: if a piece deserves a spot here, show your professor this page. Professors:your students’ names go into the permanent record, and yours goes next to them.

Entries are $95 per piecefor most programs, with some categories up to $120 — the same rate professional work pays. When a program enters on its students’ behalf, the fee travels with the entry. Judging is blind: jurors see the work, not the school or who paid.
