The Trophy Room
Every GDUSA win is a one-time event; a GDUSA record is an asset that appreciates. Badges turn six decades of award-winning work into a collectible, claimable career record — computed from the archive, never sold. Rarity climbs through the print-finish language: Ink → Spot → Foil → Letterpress → Registration.
Career win count. Every winner starts at First Win; only four firms have ever reached one hundred.
Consecutive winning years. The sharpest mark in the system — miss a year and it resets.
Single-family mastery, each in its program’s color and its own iconography.
Breadth across GDUSA’s families. The Grand Slam is held by exactly one firm.
Three-plus wins in a single discipline.
Tier and print distinctions — best in show, on the podium, in print.
Time-bound honors. Reigning titles are the only badges that expire.
Collaboration — designers across studios, firms that grow talent.
The other side of the record
Schools and production vendors earn their own marks, computed from winning student work and verified production credits. They stand apart from the firm and designer catalog above.
Winning student work, counted through the schools their professors enter. The standings badge is the only one here that can change hands.
