A reimagined locker room at W&J College celebrates women's athletic legacy and inspires future generations of athletes
Bradley Brown Design's rebranding of the women's locker rooms at Washington & Jefferson College transforms the space into a vibrant tribute to the legacy of women athletes. The design integrates a Women’s History Wall, embedding a dynamic timeline of achievements and personal artifacts into the locker room environment, thereby shifting the narrative from public spaces to a more intimate setting where athletes prepare. Utilizing bold graphics, typography, and archival storytelling, the project reinforces the college’s identity while fostering a sense of belonging among current and prospective student-athletes. The installation has become a crucial recruitment tool, enhancing the everyday experience for athletes and resonating with alumni and supporters, ultimately creating a shared legacy that inspires future generations.
