Rosey Air’s new logo merges Nordic heritage with aviation adventure, showcasing a Viking in aviator gear.
Rosey Air is an air taxi, flightseeing, and air cargo service operating out of Anchorage and Birchwood airports in Alaska. Owner and pilot Peter Rosendahl currently operates a Piper PA-18 Super Cub and a De Haviland DHC-2 Beaver (for larger groups and float or ski excursions). Peter is a third-generation pilot, and the new logo contains subtle nods to this lineage. The company adopts a nickname for Peter, shared by his grandfather, that capitalizes on his Nordic heritage. The logo does the same, with a Viking sporting aviator goggles and an airman’s scarf. Peter provided a list of adjectives he wanted the logo to reflect: independent, competent, sharp, professional, fun, aggressive, northern, adventurous, and heritage-conscious. We think we hit the nail on the Viking head with this one.
