Philadelphia Fringe Festival Poster Series Class Project

I wanted the typography to reflect the playful themes of the shows. This typographic exploration was crucial in setting the right mood and ensuring the design was engaging. In terms of hierarchy, I considered how to break down the text and information to guide the viewer's eye through the poster. The event's title was given the most importance, being larger and the more decorative design to draw attention. The artist's name, and the event dates, were positioned to be easily noticed but not overshadow the main title.
