American Package Design Awards 2026
CALIBER is a five-part writing system built around the idea that writing should feel intentional. Measured. Controlled. Fountain pens aren't everyday tools here. They're instruments with purpose. Each pen is assigned a role — planning, editing, sketching, annotating, signing — because not all thinking is the same, and your tools shouldn't be either. Formally inspired by military systems of structure, disciplined organization and different types of ammunition, every pen translates those forms into something refined and quietly authoritative. The craft matches the concept. Each box was laser-cut, then hand-sanded, stained, sealed with varnish. Custom foam inserts were cut and fitted by hand. Every pen was individually hand-painted in acrylic, giving subtle variation held within a tight, controlled palette. It's heavily focused on tactility and materiality so that the buyer is able to feel the work that went into it. It's not loud. It's confident. CALIBER isn't just packaging. It's a system you feel the moment you pick it up.
