Kate Atkinson’s crime fiction series follows retired-cop-turned-jaded-private-investigator Jackson Brodie as he investigates intertwined cases that often reveal unsurfaced secrets. The misaligned typography, half-toned photography, wood-textured letters, and zig-zagging connecting lines reflect these mysterious and misleading storylines.
