404 Error Electronic Music Festival Student Project

In a future governed by perception data and algorithmic logic, 404 ERROR is an AI–human co-created electronic music festival that doesn’t try to “restore” emotional authenticity; it asks what emotion becomes when machines misread it. Sound functions as an auditory interface that exposes emotional algorithms, drum patterns behave like unstable signals, and each stage enacts a crash-and-reboot of feeling. Here, AI is not merely a tool but a co-performer attempting to “feel” with us. More than entertainment, 404 ERROR is an open-ended study of how emotion is constructed, distorted, and redefined in the digital era. The project delivers a complete brand system, emotional vocabulary, and experiential interface across four outputs: visual identity and posters; ticketing and ID systems; branded drink packaging; and an interactive ticketing website. Through glitches, fragmentation, and reassembly, audiences are invited not only to feel—but to question what feeling now means.
