YB Wine Co. Package Design

YB Wine Co. was founded by brothers William and Ryan Yates to showcase single-vineyard wines from hillside estates across Northern California. Sustainably farmed and mindfully made, these wines reflect the Yates’ commitment to creating bottles that are approachable, authentic, and meant to be shared with loved ones. Rooted in a family legacy, the packaging draws inspiration from a 1960s Yates family label, reimagined with a hand-drawn illustration of a winemaker hauling grapes at the original estate. A stencil-style brandmark—adapted from early barrel and crate markings on the property—adds a touch of vintage authenticity, underscoring the brand’s storied past and thoughtful approach to winemaking. Taken together, these design elements capture two brothers honoring their roots while forging a new path in California winemaking.
