What Is Immunotherapy? Motion Graphics

UT MD Anderson is known to be a leading institution for cancer information. There was a need to update our previous immunotherapy animation into one that was more concise and easily digestible. To accomplish that, the script and metaphors were simplified to ease the audience into understanding complex subjects. The design relied on a simplified color palette and more graphically simple shapes, with transitions to allow the viewers to follow the story in a calm and quick manner. The animation was also reviewed by two leading doctors of UT MD Anderson to ensure that even though the visuals are simple, it was all accurately representing the work that is being achieved through our institution. The results after sharing were immediate! One Facebook follower commented: "This has always interested me. This video does a nice job explaining what immunotherapy is. Thank you for posting this." This powerful video has been featured in UT MD Anderson's historic philanthropic campaign page, OnlyPossibleHere.org, bringing in awareness to how immunotherapy is shaping the future of cancer treatment by advancing immune-based therapies and scientific discovery.
