Financial literacy is learned best through experience. The assignment was to create a fun, engaging video that clearly highlights the Community Banking Financial Literacy Simulator Game and communicates its value to potential partners in an efficient, scalable way. The client’s goal was to showcase how the game helps young people—though it can be used by learners of any age—build foundational financial skills such as budgeting, saving, and making informed money decisions through an interactive, game based experience. The simulator is offered to partners at no cost, making accessibility and ease of adoption a key part of the story. At the time of the assignment, the client was facilitating individual 20 minute demonstrations and Q&A sessions with each prospective partner. While effective, this approach limited reach and required a significant time investment. The video was intended to replace the need for these repeated demos by providing an informative and engaging overview that explains how the simulator works, why it matters, and how it can be used within partner organizations. By creating a compelling introduction that could be shared on demand, the video helps generate interest, educates partners upfront, and encourages them to book follow up conversations only when deeper discussion is needed. Overall, the assignment focused on creating efficiencies, streamlining the outreach process, and enabling the program to scale to a broader audience while maintaining clarity and impact. It reflects the program’s mission: to make financial literacy accessible, engaging, and impactful—starting with the very first touchpoint.
