Weight of the Medal Video

The Medal of Honor is the highest award given in the military for actions above and beyond the call of duty. The Congressional Medal of Honor Society represents the 61 living Recipients and the legacy of those 3,537 (since the Civil War) who have received this esteemed award. Although they are heroes, they are everyday Americans from all walks of life who carry the daunting weight of this honor for those who cannot tell their stories. The men they lost in combat, in training missions or to suicide. Their comrades who died in their arms. We tried to capture that emotion in this video created for social media and premiered at a large donor event at the NY Stock Exchange this year with 18 living Recipients in attendance. .
