Honker's Ale Package Design

Honker’s Ale is one of—if not the—original craft beers of Chicago. It's an English Pub Ale that was groundbreaking when it was first brewed in the early 90s and unfortunately fell out of distribution in the last five years. The beer had a cult-like following amongst the old guard of craft beer drinkers, so when Goose Island decided to redesign and re-release this iconic beer in 2024, we were honored they asked us to design it. The design is instantly classic — red, gold, and script type all bring a sense of familiarity and nostalgia to the packaging. The beer was released as a fall/winter seasonal, making it a staple for Thanksgiving tables and holiday parties throughout its shelf life. The response to the design and the beer has been incredible. We've received dozens of texts and LinkedIn messages on the work, and we're so proud to be a part of Honker's next era.
