Elevation EMS Branding and Logo

Elevation EMS is a digital platform and app founded by an experienced flight medic who saw the need to create tools and resources for other emergency medical professionals working in the field. The company provides customizable, practical medical education, initial license prep, continuing education and critical care training. Its tools and courses are engineered specifically for EMT and paramedic students. That connection to the EMS community became the foundation for the brand identity we created for them. At the center of the logo is a simple visual idea. Two mirrored E letters representing Elevation EMS come together to create an H in the center. That H becomes the center of a helipad, with the two Es surrounded by its traditional circle. Shifted into perspective, the circle becomes an ellipse and the letters taper into the distance. The symbol creates an immediate connection for anyone working in emergency medicine. What begins as a traditional monogram, on closer inspection, reveals the company's initials, the founder's origins, its audience and its connection to emergency medicine. All brought together in a modern, yet traditional symbol.
