Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer Poster - IN THE ROUND Native Creative Speaker Series

This poster for the 2025–26 IN THE ROUND: Native Creative Speaker Series at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) presents the speaking events for Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer, plant ecologist, educator, and writer. She is the author of the best selling book, "Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants." Kimmerer is Potawatomi and this poster is derived from Potawatomi designs found on pre-1900 bandolier bags. The images cropped into the patterns are photographs taken by the designer, Jenn Stucker, and her adult son, Jake Stucker, captures Northwest Ohio's native plants. NW Ohio is homeland to the Potawatomi people and the place in which BGSU inhabits.
