The brainchild of Jay Lombard and master blender Stuart Littlefield, Bold Coast vodka is infused with Maine oyster shells; the brand needed packaging that could match its remarkable innovation while earning a place among premium spirits. Pulp+Wire approached the challenge by looking beyond the bottle. Rather than focusing solely on ingredients, the agency created a brand rooted in Maine's rugged coastline, maritime heritage, and enduring craftsmanship. The resulting identity reflects understated luxury, allowing consumers to experience a sense of place before ever tasting the product. Clean typography, refined materials, restrained color palettes, and elegant watercolor illustrations by artist Anna Farba work together to communicate authenticity, sustainability, and premium quality without relying on clichés often found within the craft spirits category. Pulp+Wire believes that every branding project begins with a simple question: What story deserves to be told? For Bold Coast Spirits, the answer wasn't simply a unique distillation process. It was the character of Maine itself.
