An invitation is the first thing a guest sees and the piece that decides whether the evening feels worth the price of the ticket. The designer sets the tone of a whole event in one object, choosing the stock and the type so the envelope promises what the room will deliver. The winners here say the date and the dress code in a glance and still make someone want to keep the card. Bluecap Studio's Gilda Gala invitation and Main Line Health's Ripples of Impact gala suite each took a full page for making a fundraiser look like an occasion. The best invitation designers in the awards are on this page. Open any piece to see the printing up close and learn what made it work.
