Since 1931, Ringling College of Art and Design has cultivated the creative spirit in students from around the globe. The private, not-for-profit, fully accredited college offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 11 disciplines and the Bachelor of Arts in two. The College’s rigorous curriculum employs the studio model of teaching and immediately engages students through a comprehensive program that is both specific to the major of study and focused on the liberal arts. The Ringling College teaching model ultimately shapes students into highly employable and globally aware artists and designers. Ringling College’s Graphic Design program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the design thinking process and its application to a diverse range of 2D, 3D, and screen-based media. Students learn strategies for creating concepts and designing interfaces that entice, inform, and surprise the user. Their work is regularly submitted to the ADDY Awards, and they have the opportunity to intern at the Ringling College Design Center. Ringling’s Graphic Design degree graduates work as graphic and product designers, creative and art directors, visual and interactive designers, or as freelancers with the freedom to hand-pick their projects. ringling.edu
