Veil Series Portraits

Inspired by my ongoing photography series ‘Fruit Series Portraits’ and 'Candy Series Portraits,’ I decided to take another creative spin on the typical style of portraits one might see. Mirage, The Conceptual Art Magazine (Volume 3) showcases my very own ‘Veil Series Portraits.’ This series depicts the colors of the rainbow and embodies the emotion that each color represents. As a graphic designer and photographer, I am heavily influenced by color theory on a daily basis, including how colors interact with one another and the variety of emotions they visually portray. I decided to bring my concept to life through veils. The ‘veil’ of emotion that someone presents to the world can vary, ranging from sadness to happiness to creativity. Many times, there is more underneath a person's surface than we know. In this edition, I explore the relationship between the different colors of the rainbow and how each color can represent a different feeling.
