The Narrative 2025

The cover illustration was inspired by photos of the scale models featured in our article Wuxi Wonderland. To test the acoustics of the Wuxi Symphony Hall, the architecture and acoustics team created a detailed model complete with a miniature audience. Inspired by this image, our graphic designer reimagined the scene as a vibrant, graphic interpretation of a concert audience. What began with a few playful Easter eggs soon evolved into a lively illustration featuring everyone involved in producing this issue—turning the cover into a colorful surprise for our staff to discover.
