Sing Out and READ Fall Fundraiser

Sing Out and READ is a non-profit based in Tampa, Florida with the mission to “transform the lives of at-risk, struggling readers from a lifetime of illiteracy to reading proficiency using the proven teaching power of singing." They wanted to create a branded fundraising event in which the look and feel would be used for several years to come. In an effort to maintain SOAR’s friendly and approachable feel while elevating it to appeal to donors, we drew inspiration from risographs and creating abstract music staves. The music staves were simplified into a brush stroke and enlarged to dominate the page while creating movement similar to how music is read. Music notes were also overlaid on the staves with blending effects to create the risograph texture. SOAR’s brand colors were amplified with more saturation to help bring excitement visually to the event. We achieved a look that takes the current brand but elevates it so that the fall fundraiser still feels like SOAR but in an elegant way that donors will be excited to be a part of.
