San Francisco Innovation Summit - History of Innovation

Set against an illustrated silhouette of San Francisco and its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, a timeline of Bank of America’s history of innovation winds its way from 1909 to 2024. The bank’s story is impressive, as was the challenge to make the timeline complete, compelling and, most importantly, visible to the 400 participants attending the annual Technology Innovation Summit. On a twenty-foot jumbo LED screen, captioned images from the bank’s archives created a visual narration of the company’s heritage. Smoothly, allowing viewers the time to read, these slides were animated to swipe from panel to panel to show each phase of the timeline, beginning from the bank’s roots in San Francisco. From here, our guests enjoyed a clear view of Bank of America’s history of innovation — including the technology and artistry today to tell the story.
