Rao’s Made for Home packaging transforms with enticing food photography and a premium design for standout shelf presence.

The Story

The Campbell's in-house design team revitalized Rao’s Made for Home frozen entrée packaging to enhance shelf presence and appetite appeal. The previous design was disjointed, with ineffective food photography that failed to showcase the product's indulgent qualities. By adopting a 3/4-angle food photography approach, the new design highlights the rich layers and details of each dish, making the food the focal point. A rustic Tuscany-inspired backdrop and a refined color palette create a cohesive and premium aesthetic, while minimal claims emphasize the brand's commitment to quality ingredients. The use of dual finishes adds sophistication, and custom props enhance authenticity. The result is a powerful, memorable packaging design that commands attention in the freezer aisle.
