Myana (“Mothers, You Are Not Alone”) Smartphone App

Myana ("Mothers, you are not alone") is a smartphone app to support new mothers in the first year after giving birth. Co-designed by scientists, healthcare providers, and new parents, Myana takes an inclusive and strengths-based approach to postpartum healing, positive parenting, and maternal and infant thriving. Myana offers a “healing check-in,” designed to help birthing individuals recognize and act on critical postpartum symptoms, provides evidence-based screening for key health needs for mother and baby, and provides accessible and engaging education and personalized connection to community-based services.
