MavieMe x Burgopak

MavieMe has teamed up with design studio Burgopak to create packaging for its at-home microbiome and blood test kits. The packaging consists of compartments that are easy to use, with a premium feel, complimenting MavieMe’s lifestyle brand. Willemijn Zandt, senior project manager, wellness, Burgopak, said: “The key priority is the customer experience - from receipt of the kit, to taking the test, to sending it back to the lab. The essential components are clearly laid out, grouped into preparation, collection and return. The final result is packaging that’s sleek and compact, but there’s a lot going on. It’s been a pleasure to work with MavieMe, as they really see the value packaging can play in their wider brand experience.” Sheldon Swanepoel, managing director, MavieMe, said: “When people come across our brand it might be the first time they have taken a test like this, and we want it to be as straightforward and unintimidating as possible. The components are carefully arranged so people can easily see the steps to take. The first impression of the packaging will hopefully help offset any anxiety about the collection process.” The packaging is made of 265gsm METSÄBOARD Pro FBB Bright, with a satin ribbon.
