How can you find the time and resources to save and invest when you’re busy building your career and raising a family? This email was developed to promote one of Merrill’s investing approaches, Merrill Guided Investing, as a way to help people build their financial future while still having time to live life today.   The email was sent to Bank of America clients, and the promotion included a cash bonus offer of up to $600 when clients open and invest a certain amount of funds.   The cash bonus is a strong incentive, so it’s prominently called out in the subject line to encourage opening the email. The email headline directly lays out the value proposition, and captivating slice-of-life images in an animated carousel support that proposition with an emotional appeal. The bonus offer is showcased in Merrill-branded colors while bold red pops the call-to-action button.   The introductory copy leads off with the client’s first name to create a personalized feel. The clean layout, open space and iconography draws the reader through the key benefits and to a conclusion that highlights how easy it easy to start investing with Merrill.  A second, red CTA button gives clients another opportunity to click through to the landing page content.
