Assignment Develop a new website for Hudson Housing Capital that speaks directly to their core audience—investors, developers, and government agencies—while reinforcing their 25+ year track record in affordable housing finance. Approach To communicate Hudson’s collaborative ethos, we led with a custom illustration: two hands fitting together puzzle pieces in the shape of an “H” and “C.” This visual became the symbolic anchor of the brand refresh—highlighting the belief that lasting progress in affordable housing comes from strong partnerships. To underscore the company’s scale and track record, we integrated animated count-up statistics throughout the site, including $11.2B in equity raised and 82,022 affordable units created to date. These design elements work in tandem to reinforce Hudson’s credibility and commitment—conveying purpose with clarity and confidence. Results The redesigned site repositioned Hudson as a trusted partner in structuring and managing affordable housing investments—emphasizing their expertise and deep engagement in every transaction. Stakeholders praised the site for its clarity, visual strength, and ease of use, while Hudson leadership noted that the new design more accurately reflected both the scope of their work and the integrity behind it. Site engagement increased, and the design system established a cohesive framework for future growth across digital and print platforms.
