Houston Christian University Museum Update

Inventure revitalizes Houston Christian University Museum with new graphics, enhancing visual storytelling and visitor engagement.

The Story

Inventure undertook a comprehensive design refresh for the Houston Christian University Museum, focusing on enhancing the visual experience through the addition of new graphics panels. The project involved creating 18 wall-mounted panels, 2 free-standing panels, and 3 large-scale wall graphics for the Southern History Museum and the American Architecture and Decorative Arts Museum. The team faced the challenge of sourcing high-resolution images for the large prints, necessitating a hands-on approach to resample original photos for optimal quality. They strategically balanced the museums' brand colors—green and dark blue for the Southern History Museum, and pink and dark blue for the American Architecture Museum—to create a cohesive and engaging layout. The installation was completed in time for the fall semester, providing an enriched educational experience for students and visitors.
