Smith Gee Studio (SGS) Website 2025

In an effort to distinguish Smith Gee Studio (SGS) from other competing architecture firms throughout Tennessee and the southeast, it was decided to undergo a complete rebrand, including a new website. This website echoes our visual identity and further establishes our firm’s new “voice” in the market. Numerous competitor websites, as well as many architecture-based sites from around the world, were studied for both inspiration and trends, and most importantly, to help our team identify what we did not want in our new site. After establishing “think. Place.” as our new brand anchor, we began designing our new site around simplicity, monotonality, and new photography which shows our team in thoughtful, collaborative situations. We wanted the tone of the website's language to be elevated—to challenge the visitor to understand the commitment in our statements. We wanted nearly every sentence to convey intelligence and to capture the essence of Smith Gee Studio’s methodology.
