Cosmic Echoes: Jazz Conservatory & Punch Card Typeface Project

The Cosmic Echoes typeface was designed with the intention of punching out as little of each letter as possible. To showcase the typeface Cosmic Echoes: Jazz Conservatory was designed as a jazz-specific record shop and lively jazz club where local and touring artists can play. The visual language of a black and white bass that involved some light textures and then a purple and orange palette along side heavily textured images aims to simultaneously capture the serenity and energy that exists on both ends of the jazz spectrum. Three posters for upcoming headliner events and album art for a live recording at the venue were all created to help showcase the type and visual identity of Cosmic Echoes.
