ChildArt's 'Art & Social Justice' issue empowers young readers to explore global issues through creativity.
As Design Manager at the International Child Art Foundation (ICAF), I worked on the “Social Justice” issue of ChildArt, a quarterly digital magazine that introduces global topics to young audiences through art and storytelling. Our discussions with experts in the field highlighted the role of art in advancing social justice, leading to the title “Art & Social Justice.” The establishment of the International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) in 1997 ignited a global movement to foster schoolchildren’s creative and empathetic development through the arts. ICAF champions social justice for children, advocating for their inherent right to creativity and empathy.
