The Story

Chesapeake Stormwater Network sought a brand refresh after nearly 15 years, collaborating with Sunny Side Creative, LLP to align their identity with contemporary values. Through stakeholder interviews and material assessments, the team identified key messaging and brand pillars that highlighted the organization's mission. The new visual identity shifted from gray to green, symbolizing a transition to green infrastructure in water management, while graphic elements were designed to evoke movement, reflecting the interconnectedness of stormwater management. This rebranding effort clarified the organization’s purpose, emphasizing its role in convening knowledge and best practices for restoring the Chesapeake Bay, ultimately enhancing its impact and outreach.
