A poster is graphic design in its purest commercial form: one surface and a wall that owes it nothing. The designer has a passerby's three seconds and a type size that has to read from across a corridor, so the first thing a reader sees has to be the one thing the client needs them to know. Southern Poverty Law Center and Tarrant County College District share the lead for posters in 2018 with 5 winning projects each, ahead of ETS Creative Services (4), Towson University Creative Services (4), School of the Art Institute Chicago (SAIC), IRFM Creative (3), AARP Brand Creative Services (2). The firms with the most GDUSA awards for posters in 2018 are ranked below, each with one of its winning projects. Open any firm to see all of its work.
Counts are winning projects published in the gallery. In-house teams that entered under their company name are counted like firms.
