Best Package Design of 2020
The package design that won a GDUSA award in 2020, each with the firm and the designers credited.
149 award-winning projects
Packaging is the one piece of graphic design that gets picked up, and for most products it is the entire advertising budget. The designer works to understand the consumer's needs and perceptions of what is inside, then designs around the needs of the business and the desires of the consumer. The winners here read at ten feet and reward a close look at two. PepsiCo Design & Innovation has won 153 times, about four times the next name, with line extensions that stay one family, and DAP Global's spray texture system took a 2026 full page for making a hardware-aisle aerosol instantly recognizable. The best package designers in the country are on this page. Open any package to see it up close and learn what makes it sell.
