Best of the Year
Best Food & Beverage of 2020
The food and beverage that won a GDUSA award in 2020, each with the firm and the designers credited.
102 award-winning projects
Food and beverage is the busiest shelf in American retail and the most contested brief in packaging, with the largest budgets behind it. The designer handles appetite appeal and variant coding across a whole line while the nutrition panel the law requires fits inside the structure, and the brand still has to read from ten feet. The winners here make you hungry from across the aisle and tell you the flavor from arm's length. PepsiCo Design & Innovation has won 82 times with line extensions that read as one family, and Pulp+Wire's Evie's Snacks packaging took a 2026 full page for giving a pecan snack a brand people reach for. The best food and beverage packaging designers in the country are on this page. Open any package to see it up close and learn what makes it sell.
