A catalog is a store that arrives in the mail, and every page has to pay for its printing in orders. The designer turns thousands of SKUs into a system a buyer can scan, with photography and a grid that make comparison easy, and the cover has to sell the whole book in a second. The winners here are easy to shop and good to look at, in that order.
