Beauty is sold on the package before the product is ever tried, so the box carries the whole promise. The designer makes a small surface feel like a ritual, with type and finish doing the work a counter clerk used to, and the challenge is looking premium without looking like everyone else's premium. The winners here are distinct at a glance and precise up close, where the claims live. TUX Creative House's Sunski SPF identity carried a sunglasses brand into sunscreen, and Brandettes' Flávia Aurea packaging gave a clinical skincare line for menopause a look of calm. The best beauty and personal care packaging designers are on this page. Open any package to see the finish up close and learn what makes it sell.
